2. What data we collect and why
Contact form
When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, company name, a description of your project, and the services you are interested in. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share this data with third parties.
Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)): processing is necessary to take steps at your request and is in our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Analytics
We use Matomo, a self-hosted, open-source analytics platform. All analytics data is stored on our own servers and is never shared with or sold to third parties. We have configured Matomo to anonymise IP addresses before storage. Matomo does not use third-party cookies and does not track you across other websites.
Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used in order to improve it.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany) automatically records standard web server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). These logs are retained for a short period for security and diagnostic purposes and are not used for profiling.
3. Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained in our email inbox for as long as necessary to conclude any related business correspondence, and are then deleted. Analytics data is retained for 24 months before automatic deletion.
4. Third-party services
- Hetzner Online GmbH — website hosting (Germany, EU). Privacy policy
- Purelymail — transactional email delivery for contact form submissions. Email content is not used for any purpose other than delivery.
- Cloudflare — DNS and CDN. Cloudflare processes request metadata (IP addresses) to provide DDoS protection and caching. Privacy policy
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking services.
5. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Matomo analytics may set a first-party analytics cookie (_pk_id, _pk_ses) to distinguish visits. These cookies do not identify you personally and are not shared with third parties. You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time using your browser's "Do Not Track" setting, which we honour.
6. Your rights under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restriction — request that we limit how we use your data
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests

7. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Our website is served over HTTPS. Contact form data is transmitted encrypted and stored in a private mailbox accessible only to authorised personnel.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
